KPHX in MSFS 2020 is really bad

Post by awamech » Fri Sep 18, 2020 5:17 pm

Do you guys have a plan to put KPHX in MSFS 2020. The American hangar is not a hangar, they removed the skytrain bridge, trees are growing on the taxiways, Terminal 4 concourses are not even textured right, and Romeo taxiway will crash your aircraft due to taxiway has uneven sections. This desperately needs the Flightbeam touch. Thanks.

We will look into this in the future. As you know our Flightbeam PHX is outdated as well, although it would spice up the default one for MSFS it would do no good to launch it over there just to have to release a bunch of updates. Probably more realistic to update our version of PHX and then roll it out into MSFS.

We will keep all options open at this ppint.

Phoenix is actually very good in MSFS and would really benefit from your KPHX. I really miss it in the sim, always one of my faves.

thank you ,
You've answered my question. KPHX is my home airport and even though the MSFS version is "okay" Flightbeam is nearest to the real airport.

As a ramp agent at this airport for almost 7 years now. It is really really outdated to what Flightbeam has and MSFS aint even close to it. T3S is and has been done, T2 is destroyed, the rental car cental an sky train are almost connected and complete, and by Q1 2022 T4 S4(the High D concourse) being built will be completed. T3N also was remodeled.

T4 S4 (high D concourse): Southwest Only (est completion and move in Q1 2022)
T3S (terminal 3 south): Delta, Suncountry, Spirit, frontier, and jetblue, boutique [only concourse east to west]
T3N (terminal 3 north): United, alaska, hawaiian, air canada. Delta sometimes uses the Hawaiian gate for overflow (remodled)
T2 ( terminal 2): Destroyed
gates B23, 25, 26, 27, 28 : Intl and city gates
Southwest has built a new provisions/catering building behind the MTC hangar
Gate C1: only non moveable jetway ( old style)

Phx needs to be redone tbh than just an update.

Alex, we have taken all that into consideration and we work very closely with Airport Managers when we do our projects. These are not projects done strictly by guessing. We have factual data from airport personnel.

We know PHX needs to be redone the same way real world airports are ALWAYS under construction. We will get to them as we can. That is the best we can do, nothing more, nothing less.

We will keep all posted when updates are released or when we plan to redo an entire airport.

Thank you all for your input.
